About
I grew up around illustrators and always knew I would be one some day. When I went to college at the Art Institute of Atlanta the art industry wasn't using computers for everything like they are now. So I was trained to use a real airbrush. Now I use the airbrush tool in Photoshop but I still use techniques I learned from the old fashioned way. I also use a Wacom tablet to paint with the brush tool.

So as soon as I graduated in 92' everything I learned was obsolete. What used to take five people or more to do could now be done by one person and a computer. Even though I had college under my belt I still had to join the work force at the bottom level as a sign maker. I climbed my way up in that field and learned how to use computers with books and hands on experience.

Eventually I landed a job with ALPS Labs designing and printing exhibits for trial lawyers. On the side I taught myself web design and Flash. That eventually led me back to what I originally intended to do as a boy doing illustration for medical publications. I am presently learning video editing, cinematography, and screenwriting.
